GREAT BASIN FIBER ARTS FAIR 2011
We invite you to participate in the Great Basin Fiber Arts Fair. We are excited to continue this tradition which will provide an opportunity for fiber artists to gather and share with each other and the public our talents and products.
We are returning to the South Jordan Equestrian Center in South Jordan for our 3rd Year. This year, the event will be held August 27, 2011 from 9 am to 6 pm and August 28, 2011, from 10 am to 4 pm.
Vendor check-in will be Friday, August 26, 2011, after 12 pm. The South Jordan Equestrian Center is located at 11400 South and 2200 West, just west of Redwood Road. If you exit I-15 at 10600 South, head west to Redwood Road, go south and you can turn west on 11400 South where you will see the site, a polo field which borders the road.
We are excited to offer a variety of classes and demonstrations, as well as a wonderful group of vendors. We hope that our friend who have fiber animals will also participate and spread the word about the wonders of their particular fiber animals.
Prices to advertise your wares at the fair are as follows:

The ads will be posted online to our website, so the sooner your ad is in, the sooner it will be on the website. T-Shirt ads will appear on this year’s GBFAF T-Shirt and will be available for sale at the fair. Please send your ad information to Kira Masnica at : kira.spins@gmail.com. Payments may be made thru PayPal or may be mailed to Kathleen Fisher, 465 Woodland Drive, Park City, UT 84098-5155.
Vendor Spaces 10 x 10 Booth . . . . . . $60 1 10 x 20 Booth . . . . . . $75
Every business entity must purchase a minimum of 1(one) 10 x 10 booth. Vendors may combine booths, but each must buy a separate space. Vendor booths will be located in a open grassy area. Booths must be firmly anchored to avoid damage.
If you are not a business entity but an individual with items to sell you may purchase table space as a Cart Vendor for $25. Please contact Janet Otterness at janet@altamistalpacas.com for further details.
If you are interested in a booth larger than 10 x 20, please contact Janet Otterness at janet@altamistalpacas.com. You will need to provide your own tables for your booth.
Electrical access will NOT be available.
Animal Spaces 10 x 10 pen space . . . . $25 (Additional pens, $10 each, limit of 3)
These spaces will be in addition to the 10 x 10 vendor space. You will need to bring your own panels and cover, as no pen materials will be provided. You must have someone on site with the animals at all times. There must be someone with the animals overnight or they must be taken from the site at night. The space must be left as clean as you found it, clear of all refuse.
Animals from out of state will need to consult with their local veterinarian and comply with all requirements for health certificates, immunizations, etc. For any questions about the animals, please contact Janet Otterness at janet@altamistalpacas.com.
Taxes We will have tax info at the fair.
Camping Tent Camping is available for $10 per person per night. Or RV camping $25 per night.
You will be able to park your RV or pitch your tent for camping or park your vehicle behind your vendor space. See the map below.
Booth/Pen Set Up and Take Down We are so excited to see all of you! For your convenience, set up for the fair has been arranged for Friday, August 26, 2011, after 12 pm. Take down is Sunday, August 28, 2011, after 4 pm.
